Chicks News - 24th April 2026

The Chicks had a great week back at the nursery after the Easter break.

We are especially proud of our new starters who have settled into the nursery extremely well. The Green and the Pink Chicks showed great interest in their new Topic Story “You are not a proper Pirate, Sindney Green!” and all children had great fun painting the background, the pirate ship and the rocket for the display board related to the story.

The highlight of the week for the Pink Chicks was definitely joining the Fledglings on their Outdoor Learning Day to the common. They loved exploring the little forest, practicing their climbing skills and making up role play scenarios, pretending to be dinosaurs. The Purple and the Orange Group have also had great fun reading their Topic Book “The Lion on the Bus” and creating shakers by painting them with big paint brushes.
