The Fledglings have been so excited to share their favourite books with their friends this week as we have been celebrating World Book Day. They children bring their favourite book into nursery at the start of the week and we read them throughout the week. We all dressed up on Thursday 7th March as our favourite characters, which the children (and teachers) loved!
We also welcomed the Mummies to the classroom on Friday for Bring Mummy to School Day as we prepared for Mothers Day. The classroom was set up with a selection of crafting materials and together the children and Mummies created Easter bonnets for our parade at the end of term. One of our lovely Mummies read our Topic Story Mums are Magnificent and the children sang some songs before handing out the cards we had made.
The Fledglings had been eagerly awaiting these events and in the days leading up to it we enjoyed a variety of books and Mothers Day related activities.
