Fledglings News - 9th January 2026

It was lovely to welcome the Fledglings back after the Christmas Holidays and the children were very excited to be back seeing their friends and teachers. Although it was a short week we managed to squeeze a lot of learning in. We began by introducing our Person of Interest, Louis Braille, for this term. We will learn about his life and the contributions he made. The children were fascinated when we introduced the concept of the Braille code and we can't wait to discover more over the coming weeks. 

We loved sharing our Christmas Holiday adventures using observations uploaded onto our online journal and there was lots of excitement when they discovered they had been doing similar activities. It was a fantastic start to the term and we are excited for all the wonderful activities we have planned!
