Chicks News - 25th April 2025

Everyone had a great week back at school after the Easter break this week. Our Topic Story was ‘We are Family’ and the Chicks drew wonderful pictures of their family members using the chalk pens or pastels on black paper.

All children were very keen to share their holiday experiences and drew pictures of the sea side, swimming pools, ski lifts and even sharks! On Thursday the Pink Chicks went on their Outdoor Learning Day together with the Fledgelings for the first time. They had great fun exploring the little forest on the common, climbing on the trees, collecting sticks to create a campfire and balancing on the big tree trunk. We also welcomed two new children in the Chicks who settled in well and enjoyed their first nursery experience.
