Fledglings News - 24th October 2025

This week we have loved looking at journeys and counting as we have explored our Topic Story ‘The Hundred Decker Bus’. This story follows a bus as it veers off its usual route and collects passengers and decks as it travels around the world. The children were fascinated by this story and it was regularly requested throughout the morning. 

We enjoyed pretending to take a bus journey together in our Role Play Area which was set up as a bus with steering wheels, cuddly toy passengers and chairs to sit on. After our Road Safety awareness Focus Time we added further elements including traffic lights and a Lollipop Person’s signs for the children to include in their role play.
