Fledglings News - 8th December 2023

The Fledglings are in full Christmas mode with Nativity rehearsals, designing our programs and finishing off our exciting surprises for our families. We have enjoyed exploring different retellings of the Christmas story and it has been great listening to the childreen recalling their learning from last year. 

In the classroom we have enjoyed a variety of small world activities including using the Nativity scene, sand and animals to explore different journeys and the dolls houses to discuss our traditions at home. 

Our Christmas Post Office Role Play Area has been extremely busy with the children developing their fine motor skills by using the scissors to cut tape and building team working skills by helping to hold the tape for each other. 

We are so excited for the next week when we will have both the filming and live Nativity plays, our Christmas party and a special guest coming in to the nursery!
